with plentiful resources and stunning
vistas. It's the most popular camping
site right now.

Hermes: Hey! How about we have a 'Slime Catching Contest'? Whoever finds the mightiest Slime will be the winner!

Player: A Slime Catching Contest? ...Oh, that brings back such joyful memories, just like those bug-catching games from my childhood!
Hermes: Bugs? I'm not quite sure what those are, but we're supposed to catch Slimes, right? Alright, let's get started!

With a simple gesture from Hermes, a gigantic portal appears in mid-air.

Player: Stop... Hermes! Teleportation magic is not allowed! That's a violation! It's cheating!
Hermes: Hehe, there's no such rule! Let me open the portal to where the 'strongest Slime' appears! Got you—

The next moment, a blue shadow emerged from the portal.

Blue slime: Wah—! Wh-what?

In the next second, a blue Slime comes rolling right in front of you.

Blue slime: Why am I in Slime form... huh? What happened, my Magicules are gone?

Blue slime: Raphael, are you there? Where exactly is this place?
Blue slime (Raphael): (Explanation: Due to some unknown influence, you have been transported to Player 's village, and it seems that your Magicules has been depleted.)
Blue slime: What on earth just happened?!
Player: A talking Slime?

As you are trying to make sense of this Slime talking to itself, the portal flickers again, and several figures rush out one after another.

???: Lord Rimuru! A strange portal just appeared out of nowhere, and we saw you being pulled in, so we followed right away! Are you alright?!
???: Who are you?! What do you intend to do by suddenly taking Lord Rimuru away?!
???: Heh, showing disrespect to my lord... It seems you have quite the nerve. Are you prepared for the consequences?
???: What?! Rimuru! Are you hiding some delicious food from me again? Oh, what's this? Are these mushrooms?! They look tasty!

People from Another World pour out of the portal one after another.

Hermes: W-well... things seem to be going awry! I just wanted to summon a really strong Slime from Another World...
     Didn't quite anticipate this outcome, hehe. I'll leave it to you then, good luck!

With that, Hermes quickly slips away.

Player: Ah, um... I'm really sorry! This is completely unexpected... I should say... this...
Rimuru: Unexpected? ...Wait, could it be that you're Player ?
Player: Ah... y-yes! Actually—

You quickly explain the whole story and sincerely apologize. However, the Slime's fellows still seem wary.

Rimuru: Hold on, Player has already apologized. Let's hear his explanation first. I'm Rimuru, and as for these folks—

The Slime named 'Rimuru' accepts the apology and patiently reassures his companions, then introduces them one by one.

Player: (Ah, I see... Rimuru the Slime is the leader of the Monster Kingdom, and these are its fellows.)
     (Rimuru can transform into a human form, but currently can't due to a loss of Power... I see.)
Rimuru (Raphael): (Notification: It seems that your magicules has been absorbed for some reason and transferred to the Slimes in this world.)
Rimuru: Hey, you're planning to camp here, right? If it's okay, can we join you?
Player: Huh? But, what about your power...
Rimuru: It's alright, it's alright, it's probably just temporarily lost! Besides, I miss this atmosphere at the campground!
     While everyone is having a great time, would you mind helping me track down my missing power... Player ?
Player: Ah, of course! Since it's settled, let me show everyone around the campsite first!

You are busy entertaining your new friends and fail to notice the presence hidden in the distant forest, silently observing.
